Just a quick update - the new EP is finished and off to be pressed, and has also been sent off for digital distribution! It is unlikely that we’ll see it there before the holidays, but you never know - either way, it is out of our hands now, and we’ll let you know when it’s available!

Big news - the new EP is in its final stages as we lay down the final tracks for the last remaining song…to ease the wait, we’re releasing the artwork (again provided by our very own Todd Marrone) and the track list, which will include “Leroy Nemoy”, “Just Like Home”, “Clean”, and the title track - “Everything I Know Is Wrong”. We’re likely looking at a mid-Fall release, and hopefully it’ll get up on digital shelves sooner rather than later. You can be sure we’ll keep you posted!

In a very cool recent development, we just received word from a German publishing company that they’re interested in a publishing contract for the track “Most Likely To Succeed” off of the new EP! We’re still working through the details to figure out what that will entail and how it’ll work, but this is an exciting first step into the publishing world for us. Hopefully the first of many!

We’ve had a lot of positive response so far on the new EP, and we’re happy to announce that we’re already more than halfway finished with the next EP - which will hopefully be ready by late Spring/early Summer. Tracks will include:

• Leroy Nemoy
• Just Like Home
• Everything I Know Is Wrong
• Clean

Hi all - the first MATTOWAX EP, titled “Most Likely To Succeed”, is finished and about to be shipped off to the presses - both real and digital. A rare few promotional copies are being pressed onto CD, but the official release is digital-only and should be up on iTunes (and other purveyors of digital goodness) hopefully sooner rather than later (however, it can sometimes take up to a couple months…gulp…). Still, clips can be heard on the sounds page, and new music is coming soon!

Also, a live version of the group has been practicing as of late (it looks an awful lot like the Levelheads of yore!), so we may be taking the show on the road as early as the Spring.

Anyway, we CAN give you a sneak peek at the album artwork - recently finished in the nick of time by
soon-to-be-papa Todd Marrone. Check it out!
